Imagine you step out your front door and go out into the street. It is an early evening, the sun has gone down. There is no particular day, all what you see before you appear as usual. Suddenly all the familiar lights go out and you stand in the dark.

If we describe a place, then we tell generally what we see and sometimes we use to illustrate these stories, with drawings, photographs or videos. But what happens if we deny these images specifically? If we allow our most dominant sense once into the background? Feel the locations of where we are, and how do they sound?

The parties of City of X have addressed these issues and developed various experimental arrangements to play and explore the aesthetic character of their habitat.
